Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Canada is seeking a dedicated truck driver to deliver corrugated products to multiple locations. The role requires operating a tractor-trailer, adhering to road regulations, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch.

You will inspect equipment, log hours, assist with loading, and ensure safety, quality, HACCP and GMP standards are followed. A Class A license and an Industrial Truck Operator certificate are required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver corrugated products by semi-truck to multiple locations.
  • Drive truck to destination, using knowledge of area roads and regulations.
  • Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive delivery instructions.
  • Inspect truck and equipment before and after trips and report defects.
  • Maintain driver log according to regulations.
  • Assist with loading/unloading and support safety standards (HACCP/GMP).

About The Opportunity
Position Summary

This position will deliver products via semi‑truck to multiple locations.

Pay Band and Position Status

Pay Band -$25.00 hourly

Duties
  • Drive gasoline or diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer combination with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport and deliver corrugated products
  • Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of area roads, commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatcher to receive delivery instructions
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water before and after trips and submit a report indicating truck condition/defects
  • Maintain driver log according to state and federal regulations
  • Position wheel chocks secure truck during unloading
  • May assist workers in loading and unloading truck
  • Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • DOT Approved Class A License
  • Industrial Truck Operator Certificate Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Occasionally stand and walk, push/pull

Occasionally bend, squat, twist, kneel and crouch

Continuously use hand, foot control and sit

Continuously use hands for grasping

Occasionally carry or lift up to 50 lbs.

Continuously use head and neck in flex and rotating

Occasionally reach above shoulder level

Occasionally be in dusty conditions, be around moving machinery

Occasionally operate a forklift

Frequently climb to a height of 5 feet

Occasionally operate hand tools
