Job summary
A transportation company located in Peel Region, Brampton, is seeking truck drivers to transport goods. Responsibilities include operating vehicles, loading/unloading cargo, and performing necessary vehicle inspections. Training will be provided for those without prior experience. Candidates should be fluent in English and can expect to work 30 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Tasks
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
