Canada Cartage is seeking an experienced Lead Hand Truck & Transport Technician to join our maintenance team. This hands-on leadership role will help keep our fleet operating safely while mentoring technicians and apprentices.

Eligible candidates include a Licensed Journeyperson / Red Seal Truck & Transport Technician or experienced unlicensed technicians with 6+ years of applicable experience. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily shop operations and prioritize repairs
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet equipment
• Support and mentor technicians and apprentices
• Coordinate repair schedules and shop workflow
• Maintain shop safety, inventory, and maintenance records
• Work with Operations to minimize equipment downtime

What You'll Bring

• Journeyperson / Red Seal certification or 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• CVIP and Off-Road/On-Road certifications are considered assets
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
