Job description

Working in the FCA Transport (FCAT) division of Stellantis, the Truck and Coach Technician - 310T (Truck Mechanic - Hourly) performs maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers in the FCAT vehicle fleet.

The Truck and Coach Technician - 310T (Truck Mechanic - Hourly) will perform maintenance and repair tasks on trucks and trailers, complete work tickets through our TMS (Total Maintenance System), and occasionally operating a tow truck to retrieve disabled vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, organization, and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent education

  • Certificate of Apprenticeship and Certificate of Qualification as a Truck and Coach Technician (310T)

  • A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of hands-on experience in the Truck and Coach Technician trade

  • Must be eligible to cross the Canada-U.S. border and obtain a FAST Card

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills are required

  • Must supply and maintain own set of mechanic tools

  • Experience working with semi-trucks and trailers is required

  • Must be able to work any shift

  • Must hold a valid AZ driver’s license

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
