Position: Automotive Service Technician

Trican Auto Sales is seeking a full-time, permanent Automotive Service Technician.

Position Details:

• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $33.65–$35.65 per hour (depending on experience)
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 2103-21320 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC, V6V 2X5

Job Duties:

• Maintain automotive systems by adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components.
• Adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s specifications.
• Report and record problems and work performed.
• Examine motors in operation and test motor vehicles as well as their systems and components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Provide customers with information about the services performed and upcoming repairs.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program or 3–5 years of work experience in automotive technology are required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
