Position Overview:

Tress Lounge is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our financial operations at our Head office located at 8501 Mississauga Road. This role involves maintaining accurate records of daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, expenses, payroll, and commissions.
  • Maintain accurate records for product inventory and salon sales.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Support GST/HST filings and other tax documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors and salon managers regarding discrepancies or financial issues.
  • Prepare financial data for review with Leadership and external accountants.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in retail, beauty, or multi-location businesses is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Performance-based, tied to accuracy, timely reporting, and financial compliance.
