• Pack boxes, stack boxes, and provide supplies to packers.
• Clean machines and remove skids from packaging area.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.

Overview

The Summer Student will be responsible for packing, warehouse work and a variety of general labour tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Fold/label boxes and provide packers with needed supplies
• Stack boxes to build a skid,
• Clean machines and area as needed
• Shrink wrap and remove skids from packaging area
• Pick orders from a pick list to be placed on a moving belt system
• Load and Unload trailers
• Other general labour duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be returning to college or University school full-time in the fall
• Available to work up to and including Labour Day weekend
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and workweeks including afternoons and weekends
• Some heavy lifting required
