The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
The Tremplin Consortium supports the career and professional development (CPD) and career preparedness of biomedical graduate trainees and postdoctoral fellows across affiliated research centres through training, networking, and experiential learning opportunities. Reporting to the Tremplin Manager and the Principal Investigator, the Coordinator will contribute to the coordination, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of Tremplin activities in Knowledge Translation/Mobilization, Research Management and Faculty Track, Networking, and central consortium programming. Approximately half of the role will be dedicated to supporting the development of a new Business of Science initiative focused on research valorization and commercialization, including the coordination of a multi-stakeholder committee and the production of reusable e-learning resources. The Coordinator will work closely with trainees, researchers, speakers, research centres, incubators, and other partners to support high-quality program delivery and strengthen the integration of Tremplin activities across participating research environments.
