An environmental consulting firm in Yellowknife seeks a full-time Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Responsibilities include operating treatment processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of water treatment experience and is willing to work shifts. The Opportunity:
BluMetric is looking for full time Water / Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator who will be responsible for the operation of various filtering and chemical treatment processes and maintaining the water and wastewater treatment plant and facilities in accordance with federal, provincial / territorial, and municipal legislation, policies, and standards. The candidates will also be responsible for trouble shooting and adjusting the Wastewater Treatment processes as required. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team, working on a large-scale project in Yellowknife.

Key Qualifications, Education, and Skills:
Equivalency: Candidates with 2–5 years of plant operations experience in the mining or oil sectors may be considered. This includes experience in mineral processing plants, crusher plant operations, or other industrial systems involving pumps, tanks, and chemical treatment processes. Specific consideration will be given to applicants with operational experience in diamond mines or other remote industrial facilities, where routine systems monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, and hands-on mechanical work are required. General plant operations experience involving process monitoring, control systems, or fluid treatment will also be recognized as qualifying experience.
