Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Treasury Sales Officer-supporting a Canadian corporate client portfolio. You will grow revenue domestically and globally, partnering with a Treasury Sales Officer to serve large corporate clients and subsidiaries in Canada.

You will conduct client research, prepare proposals, and collaborate with services teams to deliver treasury solutions, pricing models and post-sale support, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a major financial institution’s corporate client-facing role.
  • Knowledge of cash management, and familiarity with credit, trade and foreign exchange.
  • Excellent analytical, sales, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload from diverse sources.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proven ability to develop rapport with clients and partners.
  • Some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) in exceeding portfolio growth goals, including client research, proposal development, and other sales support duties.
  • Assist in identifying solutions to client needs as requested or from needs analysis.
  • Prepare treasury services reviews and upsell Treasury products and services as needed.
  • Produce pricing/cost-benefit models and coordinate pricing with management.
  • Ensure accuracy of sales data in source systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Support clients by liaising with Client Service, Fulfillment, Credit and partner teams.
  • Prepare account schematics, proposals and sales presentations.
  • Coordinate with Fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of Treasury Solutions and post-sale satisfaction.
  • Assist in deepening relationships by identifying client needs.

Job Description

The TSA will be partnered with the Treasury Sales Officer focused on developing strategies to grow revenue domestically and globally with a portfolio of Large Corporate clients headquartered in Canada and subsidiaries of globally headquartered clients operating in Canada.

Key accountabilities
  • independent focus of treasury sales opportunities, supporting all activities from sale through implementation, ongoing client relationship management, overall driving and attainment of Treasury revenue goals.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) in exceeding portfolio growth goals; including client/prospect research; proposal development, and other ad hoc sales support duties
  • Assist in identifying solutions to client needs as requested or as a result of needs analysis
  • Prepare treasury services reviews, and upsell Treasury products and services as needed
  • Produce pricing/cost benefit models and confer with the TSO and Management regarding non-standard pricing and negotiation
  • Accountable for accuracy of sales data within source systems and other sales tracking systems which may be developed
  • Resolve any non-sales client issues
  • Assist clients in navigating the bank by liaising with the Client Service, Fulfillment, Credit and other partner teams
  • Prepare account schematics, proposal documents and sales presentations
  • Partner with Fulfillment team to ensure timely delivery of Treasury Solutions to our clients and post-sale satisfaction
  • Assist in coordinating plans around deepening existing relationships through identification of client needs
  • Utilize support partners and resources to coordinate industry, prospect, and client research
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in major financial institution’s corporate client facing role
  • Knowledge of cash management and familiarity with credit, trade and foreign exchange
  • Excellent analytical, sales, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload from diverse sources
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a larger team
  • Proven experience developing rapport with clients, colleagues and other business partners
  • Some travel required
  • Excellent MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Cash Manager/Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred
