TFS currently offers an exciting full-time opportunity as the Treasury Operations Associate, reporting to the Treasury and Budgeting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cash funding activities, preparing month-end journal entries, quarterly consolidation reports, and supporting treasury-related projects.

We have implemented a hybrid work environment, with our head office located in Markham, ON. The number of days worked in the office will depend on role requirements, which will be discussed during the interview process.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Managing daily cash funding operations, including coordination with the Regional Capital Markets team on assessing cash needs, preparing wire transfer authorizations, coordinating cash movements with senior management, swap settlements, bank confirmations, cash collateral settlements, and recording/reconciliation of cash movements.
  • Maintaining continuity schedules for borrowing, investment, and derivative transactions.
  • Preparing treasury-related reports and ad hoc requests.
  • Preparing month-end journal entries and quarterly consolidation reports related to treasury activities; reconciling relevant general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting in preparations for SOX audit requirements.
  • Supporting various cross-departmental projects to improve efficiency and foster innovation.

What You’ll Bring :

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in treasury.
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Progress towards CPA or CFA designation.
  • Knowledge of treasury products and accounting principles.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
