What will your typical day look like?

Role Overview:

As a Treasury Manager within Deloitte’s Global Finance Team, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day treasury operations, including foreign exchange (FX) hedging, cash management, and cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize treasury operations and support the organization's financial goals.
  • Technological Proficiency: Leverage advanced treasury management systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and proactively manage financial risks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to senior management and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance treasury operations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and pursue relevant certifications and training.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate foreign currency risks.
  • Stay updated on FX market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Oversee the cash flow hedging program.
  • Enhance processes related to FX exposure collection and monitoring.
  • Perform FX exposure analysis.
  • Execute FX trades.
  • Manage post-trade activities.
  • Report on hedging effectiveness and ensure compliance with hedge accounting standards.
  • Manage balance sheet hedging programs.

Cash Management and Forecasting

  • Manage cash positioning and cash flow forecasting.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to support rolling forecasts and senior leadership reporting.
  • Oversee cash reconciliations, exception resolution, and banking administration functions.
  • Handle back-office activities for debt, investment, FX transactions, intercompany settlements, and short-term investments.
  • Manage debt obligations and ensure covenant compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to treasury accounting policies and controls.
  • Lead or support treasury management system implementations.
  • Develop and maintain treasury metrics dashboards and process documentation.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide treasury expertise.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on foreign currencies, cash flow forecasting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Treasury staff.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant treasury experience, including FX derivatives and hedging programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with treasury platforms such as 360T and FINASTRA.
  • Proficiency in SAP Treasury Management System or similar ERP platforms.
