Job summary

PetroChina Canada is recruiting for a Lead, Treasury to join the Finance & Accounting Team in Calgary, Alberta. The role leads the treasury function, manages liquidity, cash-flow forecasting, banking relationships, debt and credit facilities, FX, and treasury reporting, balancing execution with leadership and controls.

This is a full-time in-office role in Calgary, requiring strong treasury knowledge and clear communication with management and external partners.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
CPA/CFA or equivalent designation preferred.
8–10 years of treasury/finance experience, ideally in oil & gas or large corporate.
Proven leadership experience and ability to coach and develop a team.
Strong cash management, forecasting, banking operations, FX, and treasury controls.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Treasury team to deliver treasury deliverables.
Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
Manage revolving credit facilities, term debt, shareholder loans, and other financing arrangements.
Coordinate treasury reporting to lenders, management, and Head Office.
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial partners.
