Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description

Treasury Analyst (6-month fixed-term contract)

When You Join Us, You Will
  1. Gather, review, and consolidate daily cash positions across multiple banks in various jurisdictions and forecast daily cash requirements of global operations.
  2. Analyze credit card activity and process electronic payments.
  3. Maintain bank account and cheque signatory listings.
  4. Prepare bank and other financial institution documentation for account opening and compliance.
  5. Act as an online bank account administrator and monitor user access.
  6. Track movements of major global transactions, including cash pooling/concentration arrangements.
  7. Support the Treasury team in implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS), including data input, migration, and bank connectivity.
  8. Perform investment analysis, review holdings, and monitor performance against benchmarks across multiple entities and geographies, highlighting overlaps in risk exposures.
  9. Digitalize investment tracking and reporting processes across entities and support opening new investment accounts.
  10. Review and analyze bank interest income and service charges for alignment with agreements.
  11. Assist in preparing internal presentations for stakeholders.
  12. Evaluate FX exposures, track FX activity, and advise on natural offsets.
  13. Serve as backup to the Treasury Manager and Analyst during their absence.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance treasury efficiency.
Our Ideal Candidate
  1. Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a Corporate Treasury environment preferred.
  3. CFA, CPA, or CTP designation, or actively working towards these.
  4. Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) preferred.
  5. Project Management and Financial Modeling experience advantageous.
  6. Experience working for a global entity is a plus.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
