Treasury Analyst role, working on an accounting & finance team of 12 and reporting directly into the VP, Finance. Well-established and reputable Vancouver-based company with impressive leadership. Flexible hybrid work schedule of 1, 2 or 3 days/week working from the office, depending on the week. Downtown Vancouver.

What- the Role:

Swim Recruiting is seeking a new Treasury Analyst for this great organization. Working on an accounting & finance team of ~15 people, including FP&A Analysts, Senior Accountants, an AP team, an AR team, etc.

The areas of responsibility are diverse, and include managing cash flow and liquidity, monitoring/mitigating financial risks for the company, forecasting cash needs, executing bank transactions (~80 bank accounts), analyzing market trends and economic trends, and reporting (both routine and ad hoc) on financial performance & position for leadership. This is a very collaborative role, and the Treasury Analyst will work with colleagues in all departments, including operations and sales, to ensure best use of the company’s financial resources, while making sure the company remains complaint with external regulations and internal policies. Using Excel, Power BI and an ERP.

There are long-term growth opportunities at this company- the person in this role can develop further into financial planning & analysis (FP&A) in the coming years. Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking an analyst with at least 4 years of progressive and relevant accounting and/or finance work experience and at least 2 years specializing in treasury & cash management. Experience with at least 30 bank accounts.

Qualified candidates will be analytical and detail-oriented, as well as business savvy and able to see the big picture. Work experience with a growing, complex, and multi-entity private organization is preferred. Candidates will have hands-on experience using an ERP and will have advanced proficiency in Excel (ability to do financial modeling, querying, and data analysis in Excel). Experience using Power BI is an asset.

CPA designation (achieved or actively pursuing) and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential (achieved or actively pursuing) is highly preferred

Longer term, the Treasury Analyst can choose to work from home 2, 3, or even up to 4 days a week, depending on what is going on at the office (2 days/week in office is usually the minimum). There are frequent on-site team collaboration days and social events. The company has a beautiful corporate office that encourages open communication.

How Much:

Generous base salary commensurate with relevant work experience, education & qualifications (if not designated vs designated vs pursuing), and analytical and treasury skills, likely in the range of $80,000 to $100,000. The total compensation includes an RRSP contribution, a performance-based bonus, paid health & wellness days, relevant professional development support, health & dental benefits, and some great industry-based perks.
