THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Treasury Analyst to work in our Treasury department. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Treasury team and will be responsible for assisting the Manager, Treasury in all treasury matters related to ARC’s business activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily cash flow monitoring and reporting, including the issuance and repayment of short-term debt, investment of excess funds, and evaluation of foreign exchange (USD/CAD) requirements
- Maintaining and updating the cash forecasting model
- Process wires payments, account transfers, payment runs and stop payments
- Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Lead the maintenance and updating of treasury systems and information in SAP
- Assist in managing credit exposure by preparing counterparty credit reviews, credit monthly report and assist in the establishment of credit limits
- Prepare weekly debt tables, forecast tables, and analysis for the weekly management meeting
- Prepare or review information as required for financial reporting
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, ideally with 1-5 years of related experience
- A finance or accounting designation such as a CPA or CFA or working towards obtaining a designation
- Experience with SAP would be an asset
- Strong analytical skills with superior attention to detail in all areas of work
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to enhance and maintain relationships throughout the organization
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- High level of personal integrity and exceptional work ethic
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
