Job summary

RBC Capital Markets is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join the Futures and Cleared Derivatives team. This role supports FCM operations across global markets and emphasizes strict regulatory compliance.

You will handle collateral movements, settlement processing, account reconciliations, and adherence to CFTC rules, working with international teams and multiple counterparties.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, VBA, formulas.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, international team environment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct movements of securities collateral between RBC, CCPs, and clients.
• Support Reverse Repo securities settlements processing.
• Reconcile RBC and client assets across GL, CCPs, custodians, and affiliates.
• Ensure compliance with CFTC Regulation 1.20, Part 22, Part 02, and Part 30.7.

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Treasury Analyst to join our Futures and Cleared Derivatives team at RBC Capital Markets, LLC. This role supports our FCM operations across global markets while maintaining strict compliance with CFTC regulations.

What will you do?

The incumbent will;

• Instruct movements of securities collateral (U.S. and foreign fixed income) between RBC, CCPs, and clients.
• Support the business in processing Reverse Repo securities settlements.
• Perform reconciliation of RBC and client assets between RBC’s internal GL and third-party accounts; CCP’s, custodian accounts and affiliates.
• Ensure adherence to CFTC Regulation 1.20 (Futures customer fund segregation), Part 22 (OTC Cleared Swaps), Part 02 (House Funds), and Part 30.7 (Futures Secured Funds).

Must Have’s

• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VBA macros, formulas, data modeling).
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and comfortable working with international teams.
