Job summary

Authority develops industry intelligence, forecasts and expert-led content to help organizations make better strategic decisions. We are seeking a Treasury Advisor active in the Canada market for a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.

You will provide concise commentary on market developments, review liquidity and risk forecasts, and explain implications for companies and investors.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Currently operating in the Canada market with up-to-date local market intelligence.
• Firsthand exposure to important financial, commercial or investment decisions in this field.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide concise written or recorded commentary on current developments, market shifts and likely business outcomes.
• Review articles, reports and forecast assumptions for accuracy, especially in liquidity, cash forecasting, short-term funding, foreign-exchange and interest-rate risk, and banking relationships.
• Explain the practical implications for companies, investors and decision-makers.
• Contribute insight that may be featured in Authority content and major industry news outlets.
• When relevant, consider separate market advisory opportunities with organizations in our client base.

Authority is building an industry intelligence platform that combines expert insight with data to improve online news coverage and forecasts about business, financial and economic outcomes.

We are looking for a Treasury Advisor who is currently active in the Canada market and has up-to-date market intelligence. This is a flexible, paid consulting engagement of up to 2 hours per month.

• Provide concise written or recorded commentary on current developments, market shifts and likely business outcomes.
