Make an impact with our Accounting & Treasury team as a Treasury Administrator. This diverse team of professionals are committed to delivering firm-wide financial solutions with expertise and precision. As a trusted advisor, you’ll compile, analyze, summarize and monitor financial data and reports that are integral to understanding the financial position of our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update account and small bank reconciliations
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of cash receipts applications and postings
  • Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders to answer inquiries regarding payments
  • Facilitate client refunds
  • Update and maintain daily bank balances
  • Maintain our client inbox
  • Utilize our internal payment systems to:
    • Assist in resolving unapplied payments
    • Receive US dollars and convert to Canadian dollars to post payments
    • Enter banking transactions
  • Ensure internal payment systems are balanced
  • Conduct research and respond to internal business partners to resolve requests
  • Collaborate to review upcoming team deadlines and work requirements
  • Coordinate the flow of work to specific team members (such as documents for review or signatures)
  • Support with filing systems, ad-hoc reports, and ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses, and industry
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Skills and Experience

  • A strong focus on client service when communicating with team members and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Highly organized, efficient, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a professional setting
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • The following would be considered an asset:
    • Ability to speak French and English (written and Oral)
    • Prior experience working in a partnership or professional services firm
    • Analytical, financial, and mathematical abilities
