Job description

This position is remote requiring 100% travel, hiring applicants from anywhere within Canada. This is an hourly paid position. With travel, overtime, and other supplemental earnings, resource technicians may have the ability to earn over $100,000 per year.

• Then consider joining our Resource Team to travel to our sites across North America and grow and train with the best in the wind industry.

Sales/SBU AME/Resource

The resource department supports service sites and construction projects with technicians and field support personnel. It provides trained and qualified technicians and contractor personnel as requested by operations, ensuring projects are executed on schedule.

Responsibilities
  1. Ability to travel 100% of the time and work overtime, including variable schedules as needed.
  2. Act as a safety role model, promote safety standards, identify safety risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  3. Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a focus on safety and quality; assist with or perform basic quality audits.
  4. Perform wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, operate tools, and document work in systems like SAP.
  5. Gather information on turbine performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions within trained scope.
  6. Follow structured troubleshooting processes, use diagnostic tools, and work with limited supervision.
  7. Promote teamwork, mentor lower-level staff, and support process improvements.
  8. Interface with customers, respond to inquiries, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary education and wind industry experience preferred, including electrical skills and reading drawings.
  • Proficiency with power tools and safety protocols.
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport.
  • Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
