Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Ontario is seeking a Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team across stores. You will prepare, dispense and manage Rx and clinical services with accuracy and timeliness, while ensuring adequate inventory and delivering excellent patient care.

We value patient education, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and a strong customer focus. This role requires travel between different pharmacies and a valid Pharmacist license (Class A).

Qualifications

• BSc Pharmacy and Class A license required.
• Excellent customer relations and professionalism.
• Strong leadership and performance management.
• Experience in community marketing and business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem solving and action planning.
• Knowledge of Healthwatch and KROLL Pharmacy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
• Ensure inventory levels for meds and OTC products meet patients' needs.
• Counsel patients on new medications with friendly, proactive interaction.
• Educate customers through public relations and health days.
• Provide timely resolution to patient needs and Doctor requests.
• Review and control costs within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
• Provide ongoing training for new and existing Pharmacy staff.
• Receive, prepare and deliver Rx and clinical services within scope.
• Regular travel across pharmacies; reliable transportation required.
• Work across multiple pharmacies as needed.
