Traveling position based in your geographical region, with potential travel across North America (MI, NY, ME). We are hiring across Canada.

A Day in the Life

You will perform major repairs on various wind turbine brands, working at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather conditions. This role involves regional travel up to 90% annually, covering your local region and possibly other provinces in Canada. You will be based at one of several Vestas sites in Canada.

About You
  • You prioritize safety.
  • You have a positive attitude, work well in teams, and are motivated and proactive.
  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of wind industry experience, a wind certificate, or transferable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical skills.
  • You have experience leading component retrofits/upgrades, calling cranes, tracking time, managing tooling, parts, and logs, and accurately recording all assets daily.
