Are you an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) seeking an exciting and meaningful work experience in Northern Manitoba and Nunavut? Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of those you care for? Consider traveling for work to expand your personal and professional growth in healthcare. We offer a unique opportunity to experience an expanded clinical scope while enjoying an adventure! Assignments typically last from 2 to 6 weeks.

The Work You Will Do
  • Work primarily in clinic-based environments, providing primary and emergency care to residents of all ages in a community clinic or health center setting.
  • Engage in health promotion, assessments, and support, implementing care based on best practice clinical guidelines for primary and emergency care.
  • Collaborate with nurses in a clinic setting, managing urgent and non-urgent walk-ins, similar to a walk-in clinic, and providing primary care follow-ups.
  • Provide acute and primary care, demonstrating the ability to think and react quickly, prioritize patient needs, and operate independently as there are no physicians on site.

Who You Are
  • You are a graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program, practicing in good standing.
  • You are willing to obtain the necessary license through the regulating body in your province or territory.
  • You meet the required work experience for the role.
  • Mandatory skills and additional training requirements will be discussed during the interview.
