Are you looking for an exciting and meaningful Public Health Nursing experience in Nunavut?

Are you a qualified Registered Nurse with a passion to make a difference in the lives of those you care for? We offer a unique opportunity to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks.

The work you will do :

  • Health Promotion, well baby / well mom programs, Immunization, and community wellness programs
  • Establish and promote education programs and campaigns (e.g., flu shot campaigns) within the community
  • Work collaboratively within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to clients
  • Utilize observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills according to care plans
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort, and safety of clients are met to the greatest extent within your scope of practice

Who You Are :

  • You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and possess a valid nursing license in good standing
  • You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
  • You are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in your desired province or territory
  • You meet the required work experience
  • Mandatory skillsets, training requirements, and reimbursements will be discussed during the interview
