Job summary

Northern Medical Connections (NMC) is seeking Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) to fill exciting healthcare opportunities across Canada. Based in Halifax, we connect professionals with rewarding roles where they feel valued and supported.

Travel is required; flexible contract lengths. Must have four years Canadian MLT experience, CSMLS certification, and a Canadian MLT diploma/degree. Immunization, BLS, Vulnerable Sector Check, and N95 fit test are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of Canadian MLT experience, including at least one year of recent experience
• Current CSMLS Certification
• Completion of a recognized Canadian MLT diploma or degree program
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
• BLS certification completed through an in-person course
• Proof of current immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Covid-19, Polio, Hepatitis B)
• Proof of Tdap booster within the past ten years
• Proof of negative TB skin test (past ten years) or chest x-ray (past five years)
• Proof of N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate (past two years)

NMC Onboarding Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
• Willing to travel for work term assignments - flexible contract lengths available
• Minimum of four years of Canadian MLT experience, including at least one year of recent experience
• Current CSMLS Certification
• Completion of a recognized Canadian MLT diploma or degree program
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
• A valid BLS certification completed through an in-person course
• Proof of current immunization for MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Covid 19, Polio and Hepatitis B
• Proof of Tdap booster within the past ten years
