Summary of Travel Media Manager role:
Are you a storyteller at heart with a passion for travel and a knack for building authentic media relationships? As our Travel Media Manager, you’ll lead efforts to position Greater Victoria as a top travel destination by collaborating with journalists, influencers, and content creators across print, digital and social platforms. From crafting scroll-stopping itineraries to pitching irresistible story ideas, you’ll bring the region’s charm to life for audiences around the world. If you’re equal parts strategic and creative, love uncovering hidden gems, and know your way around both a press release and TikTok trend, we want you on our team!
This position is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work in-office at least three times per week, requiring the successful candidate to be located in the Greater Victoria region. It is a full-time 35/hrs a week role with a salary between $65,000-$70,000.
