Clean Harbors in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Dredging & Dewatering Technician to join a safety-focused team. The role involves operating and maintaining dredges and centrifuge systems, with travel required for 2–4 weeks at a time based on project demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or construction environments preferred.
• Experience operating centrifuges, dredging, and dewatering is an asset.
• Ability to travel overnight up to 75% annually with 1-2 weeks from home at a time.
• Class 5 Driver's License is required.
• Experience operating front-end loaders, wheel loaders, or skid steers is an asset.
• Boater's license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operates centrifuges and electric dredges.
• Maintains centrifuges and dredges.
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment.
• Performs general duties required to complete work, such as debris removal, cleanup, setup.
• Completes all required paperwork.
