Job Title – Travel Bid Writer

Department/Sector – Business Travel

Our client is a top travel company who are recruiting a Bid Executive.

In the role, you will be assisting the Bid Team; you will be responsible for preparing responses to a wide variety of individual client requirements as well as framework tenders.

You will be working under the overall guidance of a Bid Manager; we need you to assist with coordinating and producing responses to bids and undertaking various presentations and research where necessary.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Support the Bid Manager to complete and deliver all bid-related tasks.
  • Assist in the development of knowledge management applications/tools to facilitate the sharing of information across the company.
  • Work with bid team members and other teams in the company to build and maintain good relationships, communicating professionally and effectively at all times.

Experience Required:

  • Excellent written English skills.
  • A methodical approach with good attention to detail.
  • Proven capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills.
  • This client is looking for candidates with a can-do, will-do attitude, personality and work ethic, and with experience in writing bids, but would consider transferable skills. Essentially, you need to have written and compiled bid proposal documents to suit client needs and need to be used to writing proposal documents from scratch.
