Job summary

Springboard is seeking an Education Assistant to provide structured, trauma-informed education support for youth in the Toronto program. You will work closely with counsellors and staff to maintain records, coordinate appointments, and deliver tailored education plans.

The position requires a diploma or degree in social sciences, child and youth care, or related field, with at least one year of trauma-informed youth work experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Undergraduate Degree in the Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work or related field.
• Minimum one year experience working with youth who have experienced trauma.
• Crisis prevention and intervention experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely notes and logs using case management software and perform admin tasks as required.
• Support youth with education plans, life skills, and program goals.
• Attend school daily with youth to provide behavioral support and ensure educational objectives are met.
• Collaborate with the school and staff to support program delivery and youth wellbeing.
