Position Summary
Transporter, Emergency Services Program: Your goal in this position is to contribute to the organization and optimal function of the Emergency Department working with emergency physicians, registered nurses, and ward clerks to support patients and patient care staff. You will also contribute to patient flow and enhance patient and family-centered care in the Emergency Department. You should have good verbal communication skills, the ability to work within a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining patience, compassion, and a courteous manner with patients, families, and coworkers is essential. This position supports the hospital’s academic mandate by advancing care through teaching, learning, research, and innovation. You will also ensure health and safety policies are followed to maintain a healthy environment for everyone.

This is a Part-Time Regular position with 8 and 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends in the Emergency Department.
