Job summary

Access Information Management of Canada ULC in Toronto is seeking a Transportation Specialist CDL to transport confidential documents between client locations using wireless scanning technology. You’ll represent Access, loading materials at the records center and delivering to sites with professionalism.

Requirements include a valid CDL with airbrake endorsement, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, 1–2 years driving and warehouse experience; the role offers hourly pay of $23.50–$25.00,

Qualifications

• A valid CDL Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Airbrake endorsement is required.
• The physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 60 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• At least 1–2 years of warehouse/physical atmosphere experience.
• At least 1–2 years of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the public face of Access Information Management.
• Load company vehicle with materials and prepare paperwork for deliveries.
• Deliver and/or pick up client documents using wireless scanning technology while on the road.
• Return to the records center and finalize paperwork for the day’s deliveries.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Your Daily Responsibilities

• As a Transportation Specialist, you are the public face of Access Information Management.
• You start your day in the records center, loading your company vehicle of materials, recycling bins and/or boxes full of confidential documents, and preparing the necessary paperwork for your day’s deliveries.
• You spend most of your day on the road, going from client locations to client locations, delivering and/or picking up client documents and materials in using wireless scanning technology, interacting with the clients and making sure they are satisfied and well served.
• You return to the record center at the end of your day, unloading your company vehicle of materials, recycling bins and/or boxes full of confidential documents and completing the necessary paperwork for closing your day’s deliveries.
• You will perform any other tasks and projects assigned by your Supervisor.

More About You

• A valid CDL Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Airbrake endorsement is required.
• The physical ability to lift boxes, recycling bins and materials weighing up to 60 pounds and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse/physical atmosphere
• At least 1 to 2 years of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
