As a Regional Communications Consultant at John Hancock, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to the success of our retirement plan and investment initiatives. You will be responsible for on-site enrollment / education services, ensuring dynamic communication of retirement plan and investment concepts to meet the needs of employees, participants, and plan sponsors. Additionally, you will participate in virtual enrollment / education meetings, delivering remote presentations and providing support to internal and external partners. This is a remote work arrangement in Texas with an opportunity for travel within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with intermediaries to schedule and conduct on-site enrollment / education meetings in both English and Spanish (if applicable), tailored to meet the needs of employees / participants and plan sponsors.
- Respond promptly and expertly to questions and concerns regarding John Hancock plan investments, service features, products, and 401(k) retirement savings programs.
- Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries in conducting on-site enrollment meetings, ensuring the effective representation of John Hancock and the accurate utilization of enrollment tools.
- Work closely with intermediaries and plan sponsors to grow assets under management through successful employee education and enrollment initiatives.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials vital for on-site enrollment / education meetings.
- Facilitate and deliver remote presentations, including group enrollment / education meetings, and provide support for website demonstrations.
What we are looking for
- College degree or equivalent work experience in education or the pension and / or defined contribution sector.
- Two to three years of experience in a similar role.
- Life insurance and variable license as determined for territory coverage.
- NASD Series 6 and 63, or the ability to acquire them within six months of hire.
- Industry designations such as APA, APR, ChFC, etc., are a plus.
