Job Description
We currently have an opening for a Transportation Engineer-in-Training in our Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on transportation projects with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure. This position will present many opportunities on a variety of tasks and our expectation will be for the candidate to develop proficient skills in all areas of project delivery, including preparing studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, construction management, and construction inspection.
As the ideal candidate, you have a passion for transportation engineering, while being an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills and leadership potential, who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Your abilities will be strengthened and grown through a range of projects focused on the delivery and management of transportation in Alberta.

Job Requirements
What you will bring:
• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience working on Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors projects an asset
• Registered, or eligible for registration as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within Alberta.
