Job summary

Allnorth Consultants Limited is seeking a Transportation Engineer in Saskatoon, SK. The role focuses on securing and delivering Construction Administration projects for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and other jurisdictions within Saskatchewan, leveraging your PE license and SLS credentials.

You’ll oversee budgets, schedules and risk, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and provide senior-level support to project managers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction across

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with APEGS registration.
• Pre-qualified as SLS in CA: Grading, Surfacing, Culverts.
• 10+ years on Ministry CA projects as an SLS.
• Familiar with Saskatchewan MoH standards, manuals and specs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to develop winning proposals.
• Client-focused with commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Our Ideal Candidate

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for securing and delivering Construction Administration projects for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and other jurisdictions within Saskatchewan.

A Day in the Life

• You will provide project oversight, weekly and monthly construction updates, and budget forecasts.
• You will update the Hwy Hotline, facilitate contract management, lead meetings and stakeholder consultations, attend CA start up meetings, and facilitate effective communication.
• You will be responsible for project budget, schedule, scope and risk management.
• You will coordinate the project team and provide senior level support to the Project Manager, On-site Supervisor, and the rest of the project team.

What you'll bring to the Team

• A Professional Engineer registered with APEGS.
• Pre-qualified with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways as a Second Level Supervisor (SLS) in the Construction Administration (CA) Categories of "Grading", "Surfacing" and "Culverts".
• 10 plus years serving on Ministry CA projects as an SLS.
• Familiar with Saskatchewan Ministry of Highway's standards, manuals and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with and lead team members in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
• Provide winning proposals.
• Client focused, ensuring complete satisfaction in our team's work.
