Job summary

Benesch seeks a Transportation Drainage Project Engineer to design and analyze stormwater drainage for transportation projects in a hybrid Denver/Johnstown setting. You will lead hydrology analyses, prepare drainage reports, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Required are a BS in Civil Engineering, 8+ years of drainage experience, and a Colorado PE license or plan to obtain within 6 months. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for client relations and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• 8+ years of transportation drainage experience preferred.
• Colorado PE license required (or obtain within 6 months of employment).
• Strong communication and project management experience.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules with drainage staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and hydrology analyses and design for transportation projects.
• Prepare drainage reports meeting client and industry standards.
• Oversee plan production for drainage design, stormwater management, and detention facilities.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project pursuits.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, and staff hours for drainage tasks.
