Job description

The Transportation Coordinator is part of an efficient and productive team helping manage the day-to-day operations of all aspects of Brewster Transportation Services, including but not limited to Charter, Brewster Express, and Sightseeing.

What will your compensation be?

The starting wage for this position is $20.50/hour.

This adventure begins on August 1st, and is a full-time, year-round position.

What will you do in this job?

  • Receive and handle inbound inquiries and booking phone calls and emails.
  • Input accurate data into the Brewster Charter system.
  • Accurately price, quote, and bill clients.
  • Produce booking confirmations and follow up with clients, including taking payments through a direct POS system.
  • Coordinate with various departments within Pursuit to maintain Sightseeing, Attractions, and Food and Beverage inventory.
  • Perform data entry into multiple programs.
  • Maintain open communication and actively participate in relationship building with the Pursuit Central Reservations team.
  • Communicate with drivers and dispatch regarding itineraries, timings, and adherence to the House of Services driving law and DOT regulations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for operational inquiries from major travel trade partners.
  • Responsible for service recovery of travel trade and/or direct guests.
  • Report performance measures for the department weekly, as directed by the Transportation manager.
  • Assist in various transportation roles including ticket sales, guest loading, meet and greets, and filing.

What skills and experience are needed?

  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly approach, both on the phone and in person.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Enjoy troubleshooting and finding efficiencies.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
