About the opportunity:

The Transportation Services Analyst optimizes services and reduces costs by analyzing transportation configurations and processes, while also supporting project management and process improvement. The role manages National Transportation operations efficiently, coordinating shipments, planning routes, and maintaining high customer service levels. They also provide reports and analytics, executing SAP transactions, and liaising with various teams regarding finished goods freight management.

The attributes we are looking for:

  • Develop and implement transportation plans to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Utilize software systems to organize and optimize customer deliveries.
  • Interface with carriers and distributors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Manage carrier planning and optimize the use of trailers and vehicles in line with financial expectations
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day transportation issues including shipping, production, and distribution with both internal and external customers. Perform crisis management as required, including notification to proper stakeholders
  • Act as a key liaison between customer service, warehouse, supply planning, and third-party carriers. Provide delivery insights and support to customer service and sales teams
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives and transportation projects. Propose and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency of the distribution network
  • Manage & support vendor invoice audit & approval process through OMP and ensuring payments through SAP.
  • Manage customer OS&D & deductions process in collaboration with Customer Service and other functional teams.to ensure timely and efficient actions are implemented to reduce service and financial impact
  • Provide support by generating KPI reports and assisting with queries on the following but not limited to: Rate analysis, On time delivery and penalty reporting, Carrier scorecard and financial reporting.
  • Review, analyze, authorize and investigate with internal & external stakeholders the main reasons for SC non-compliance penalties and propose solutions.

What you will bring:

  • University degree or College diploma (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain Experience
  • Ability to achieve positive results and focus continuously on process and cost opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills with innovative thinking for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective leadership capabilities, results-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), SAP, TMS, and routing software.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and lead or participate in cross-functional teams.
