As a Transport Supervisor, you will lead a small, dedicated team to ensure the efficient daily operations of pick-ups and deliveries while playing a critical role in representing our services to customers. This hybrid role requires strong operational leadership and a sales-driven mindset to help grow our services and strengthen customer relationships. You’ll oversee driver scheduling, routing, and performance, while also serving as a key customer-facing leader, able to identify service opportunities, resolve client concerns, and promote our transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and model a strong safety-first culture, supporting Health & Safety and food safety programs (HACCP, Cold Chain Assurance).
- Supervise daily driver operations: dispatch, route optimization, and compliance with hours of service and maintenance schedules.
- Coach and manage drivers for safety, service quality, and performance; oversee training, onboarding, and documentation.
- Act as a front-line representative with customers: address service issues, identify upselling opportunities, and build trust-based relationships.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to support customer growth, promote services, and contribute to business development goals.
- Support office operations and customer service: prioritize daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure service excellence.
- Maintain driver records, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings.
- Support budget adherence, monitor performance reports, and manage office resources, supplies, and payables.
- Champion continuous improvement and employee engagement across transportation and warehousing functions.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or warehousing.
- Proven sales or customer-facing experience—able to confidently represent our services and identify business opportunities.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve team performance, resolve client concerns, and manage change.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to prioritize and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with dispatch systems or transportation software (e.g., Truckmate) is a plus.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance.

Pay Range:$60,900.00 - $95,200.00
