Job summary

GardaWorld in British Columbia is seeking a Transport Security Guard to support secure transportation within a high-responsibility environment. You will escort and safely transport individuals between facilities, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain detailed logs and incident reports.

This role offers 12-hour rotating shifts, clear opportunities for career growth, and benefits. A valid BC Security Guard licence, First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) is an asset, and a clean driving record are required;

Qualifications

• BC Security Guard Licence is required.
• First Aid Level 1 (OFA1) – an asset.
• Unrestricted Class 4 BC Driver's Licence.
• Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years.
• Clean Drivers Abstract.
• Pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and escort individuals between designated facilities and locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and security checks.
• Search individuals, luggage, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
• Transport and safeguard personal belongings, luggage, valuables, and other authorized property.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and changing situations during transportation.
• Complete detailed logs, documentation, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and facility personnel.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, and operational readiness.
• Follow all established security, transportation, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and highway safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional and respectful approach in all interactions.
• Perform other duties related to secure transportation and security operations as required.
