Placements24 is seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead the transport division in Kimberley. You will oversee fleet management, route planning, and dispatch, driving safe, cost-efficient deliveries and service excellence.

You will build and mentor a team, ensure compliance with transport laws, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders to optimize operations in the Northern Cape region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transport operations management or a senior logistics role.
• Proven experience managing large fleets and complex transportation networks.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.

• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and related software.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
