Job summary

OPENLANE in Brampton, Canada is seeking a casual part-time Driver to join the transportation team. This role typically offers 2–4 shifts per week with shifts from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, plus occasional overtime. You will safely transport vehicles and support efficient operations.

Role requires a valid Class G license, ability to drive many vehicle brands/models, and occasional Saturday availability. You will input data via the Driver app and work with teammates in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

We seek individuals to fill the role of Casual Driver in our transportation department. If you have a passion for driving, a strong sense of responsibility, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you.

This is a casual part-time position, typically scheduled for 2 - 4 shifts per week depending on business volume. Hours may range from 8am - 6pm, Monday through Saturday, with occasional overtime.

What You’ll Do

• Safely deliver and pick up vehicles, ensuring secure and timely transportation.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, utilizing effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Use and Navigate through and accurately input data using Driver app pre/post delivery including utilizing Uber or other Ride Share.
• Ensure that the vehicle is road-worthy by checking tires, fuel, lights, signals & brakes using our pre-trip safety process.
• Assist with boosting vehicles, checking fluids, airing up tires, and fueling vehicles as needed for transportation.

What We Require

• Possession of a valid Class G driver's license (manual driving capability) with a clean record.
• Adaptability to work in different weather; occasional need to remove snow from vehicles for inclement weather, operate in the rain, and other weather conditions.
• Proficiency in driving a wide range of vehicle brands and models.
• Occasionally available to work Saturdays depending on business needs.

Compensation

Hourly: $17.60 - $21.70 CAD
