McMan Calgary is seeking a passionate Transition Worker for their Youth Transition to Adulthood program. This role involves providing individualized support to youth, helping them develop critical life skills, build their self-efficacy, and navigate complex needs towards successful independence. The ideal candidate will have relevant education and experience, and be dedicated to empowering youth in achieving their goals.
McMan Youth Family and Community Services Association of Calgary and Area is an organization making a difference in the lives of more than 4100 vulnerable children, youth, and families annually. We support children, youth, and families with complex needs, including mental health issues, addictions, homelessness, poverty, and disability, by providing the services and supports they need to thrive. The Youth Transition to Adulthood (YTA) program provides individualized support to youth to help them prepare for adulthood. We are currently seeking someone who has a passion for working with youth to join our YTA program as a Transition Worker. The Transition Worker is responsible for supporting youth in locating appropriate housing options based on their needs, building their capacity and self-efficacy, making informed choices, planning for their futures, working towards their education and employment goals, accessing community resources and services, increasing social connections, and building a stronger support network.
The Transition Worker will also be actively involved in supporting youth to address various complex needs, including addiction and mental health, and teaching life skills that will allow the youth to transition successfully into independence.

Salary Range: $49,768.00 to $54,931.00
