The City of Brantford is seeking a Transit Supervisor to manage daily, weekly and monthly transit operations, supervise staff, and support route planning and performance analyses.

Reporting to the Manager of Transit, the Transit Supervisor will be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly administration and supervision of the Brantford Transit Bus Terminal. The Transit Supervisor will work in conjunction with the transit inspection staff, inter-city staff and transit operators. Duties include but are not limited to updating ridership statistics, ensuring adherence to Performance Standards; route planning: bus stop inventory and replacement schedule; analyze Revenue to cost performance for system; and ensure compliance with the Ontario Disabilities Act. Providing statistical information for service review update reports; and addressing customer service related complaints and suggestions. Administering the collective agreement with staff. Ensures all cash control procedures are followed for Transit related matters. Knowledge and experience with Transit Planning would be an asset.
As a condition of employment, proof of current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications will be required.
