Job summary

Salvador Ready Mix Concrete LP is seeking to fill a full-time Transit Mixer Operator position in Cranbrook, BC. You will operate late-model mixer trucks, loading materials to various sites while following safety policies.

Training is provided for those new to the role, with overtime and weekend callouts as needed. Ideal candidates have a Class 3 license with air brake endorsement, a clean abstract, and willingness to work in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
• Experience operating a mixer truck or willingness to learn (training provided).
• Previous physical labour experience.
• Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Safety conscious and able to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Loading and driving materials to various job sites.
• Maintenance of equipment and vehicles, including greasing and cleaning.
• Investigation and recording of equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Ensuring materials and tools are properly secured.
• Follow safety policies and procedures such as pre trips, post trips, and hazard assessments.
• Carrying out other related duties as assigned.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our dedicated team in Cranbrook, BC! This position will be full-time, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work (unless over-time opportunities are provided). REQUIREMENTS:

• Class 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
