Hatch is seeking a Transit Engineering Student with interest in Railway & Transit for an internship starting September2025. Reporting to Rail & Transit Projects you will support offices globally working from our Vancouver, B.C. office location.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Be working as part of a design team, assisting with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; site inspection; design calculations, report writing.
  • Coordination with engineers, designers and related disciplines as required to assist with project deliverables.
  • Preparing design submissions and other technical documents.

You bring to the role:

  • Currently enrolled inBachelor'sdegreein Civil / Structural Engineering. Relevant courses involve: Civil, Structural, Geotechnics, Utilities and Project Management.
  • Experience in the use ofAutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil3D.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Problem solving skills and analytical.
