Job Summary

McKesson Canada is seeking a dynamic and visionary Transformation Lead to spearhead a large-scale and complex digital business transformation. Reporting to the President of the Specialty Health business unit, this role will ensure the successful implementation of a new customer relationship management (CRM) platform across our operations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a successful track record of managing digital business transformations, preferably in the healthcare sector. The Transformation Lead will bring deep understanding of program management, organizational change, and industry best practices to lead cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at every level to ensure a seamless transition and sustained success.

Location: 2300 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our designated office location. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of digital business transformation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivering transformative results.
  • Partner with the assigned Project Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive transformation roadmap, including timelines, budgets, resource plans, and key milestones.
  • Unite cross-functional workstreams, ensuring engagement and focus on project goals.
  • Monitor progress and assess project health through appropriate KPIs and metrics, providing regular insightful updates and comprehensive reports to executive leadership.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and remove obstacles that may impede the success of transformation initiatives; maintain project momentum and adhere to delivery timelines.
  • Continuously improve project governance and planning capability by integrating optimal ways of planning, organizing, acquiring, implementing, delivering, and supporting the transformation.
  • Enable change management initiatives to ensure stakeholder engagement, user adoption, cultural alignment, and long-term transformational success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for the transformation initiative. Organize and lead regular stakeholder meetings to review progress, align priorities, and address concerns.
  • Cultivate a positive transformation culture, guiding the organization in adapting to new technologies, new ways of working and new organizational structures. Ensuring employees are engaged and supported throughout the transformation process.

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • 10+ years in progressively responsible business transformation positions or relevant area of business (project/program management, resource management, financial analysis).
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation programs within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-level initiatives involving significant technology, processes, and organizational change.

Key Competencies

  • A master’s Degree is considered an advantage.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent experience, although not mandatory, is considered an asset.
  • Experience managing cultural change and aligning organizational structures to support new business processes and technologies.
  • Financial acumen with experience in roles involving budgetary responsibility including forecasting and trending project financials, is a plus.
  • Experience using project and portfolio management tools (e.g., MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Effective leadership, training, presentation skills, and experience leading multiple, highly diverse teams to achieve/deliver results.
  • Leadership experience and proven ability to collaborate and influence decisions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, make data-driven decisions, and lead through change.
  • Proven experience in project management, especially technology upgrades.
  • Global mindset with enterprise orientation.
  • Strong data-driven insights and financial/business acumen.
  • Commitment to operational excellence.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $113,500 - $189,100
