The Opportunity

An industry leading North York team is actively seeking a proactive and resourceful leader to manage real estate transaction activities for a property portfolio.

You will prepare, recommend, and implement a transaction strategy for acquiring and disposing of real estate. Coordinate resources and stakeholders for lease renewals, site acquisitions, surplus space disposition, early lease termination, and more.

This role requires managing competing priorities, working with external clients, and collaborating with team members to manage leasing deal flow and operations. Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, organizational, and planning skills are essential. The individual should be self-starting, action-oriented, exercise independent judgment, and see tasks through to completion.

Working directly with the Executive Vice President, this role will implement real estate plans aligned with client goals, assist with project scope, prioritize assignments, and ensure milestones are met.

The role also involves acting as landlord/sublandlord agent, managing the full sales cycle, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring successful lease execution.

Ensure daily accuracy of client report platform, VTS.

Prepare, edit, and blackline offers, RFPs, LOIs, commission agreements, waivers, and proposals, with occasional input from sales reps.

Collaborate with the Sales Support Coordinator on marketing and communication strategies.

Manage databases, generate reports, and participate in client presentations and meetings.

Attend and/or lead tours with clients.

Monitor lease expirations, negotiate renewals, track transaction activity, and prepare forecasts and vouchers, ensuring all savings are accounted for.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Registered with RECO (required).
  • Advanced knowledge of financial principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex documents and solve problems involving multiple options.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At least 2 years of office leasing experience.
