Job description

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Transaction Analyst. The responsibilities of this position include analyzing and processing invoices, credit card transactions, employee expense reimbursements using various payment methods, in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring adherence to payment terms, policies, taxation, and banking requirements. The role also involves reconciliation of gaming revenue to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Sr Manager Financial Transactions, you will be empowered to:

  1. Invoice Processing, Analysis, and Reconciliations: Prioritize, review, and process a high volume of invoices using advanced accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct thorough analysis, reconciliation, and tracking of invoices to ensure adherence to payment terms, maximization of discounts, and avoidance of interest charges. Review invoices for appropriate tax applications (HST, GST, non-resident withholding, etc.). Verify that non-Po invoice approvals align with Delegation of Financial Management Authority policy (DOFMA). Assist in resolving purchase order and receiving challenges.
  2. Payment Execution: Perform payment functions via Electronic Funds Transfer and cheque methods, leveraging automated technology solutions for seamless and accurate processing. Process wire payments in Canadian and US currencies for domestic and international customers, ensuring proper routing and bank requirements.
  3. Credit Card Program Administration: Assist with credit card activities, including tracking invoices and submitting statements timely, reviewing transactions, and escalating issues as needed.
  4. Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, AGCO regulations, tax legislation, and audit requirements.
  5. Support Expense Submission Review and Reporting: Collaborate with T&E Specialists to review employee expenses for accuracy and policy compliance. Assist in compiling expenses for Integrity Commissioner reporting.
  6. Customer Support: Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
  7. System Performance Testing & Troubleshooting: Help diagnose system issues, investigate errors, and support system testing related to accounts payable functionalities.
  8. Reporting and Administrative Duties: Generate accounts payable reports, maintain vendor invoices and expenses, coordinate onboarding of new employees, support audit preparations, and perform related administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY

Work Experience: 2-3 years in finance responsibilities within a mid to large organization.

Education: Degree/diploma in finance, business, or accounting; knowledge of OLG operations, IFRS, tax, and banking legislation.

Critical Skills
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with D365 or similar financial systems is an asset.
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting applications and policies is advantageous.
