What the job is all about:

  1. Content Creation and Development: Develop comprehensive eLearning materials about Ross technology and services in collaboration with product management, commercial operations, and other teams. This includes creating short-form instructional video content to enhance learning experiences and simplify complex technical information into easy-to-understand adult learning material.
  2. Learning Plan Implementation and Needs Assessment: Understand and deploy learning plans for both internal and external learners. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training requirements and create detailed content development schedules. This ensures that training programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of different learner groups.
  3. Material Management and LMS Administration: Organize and catalogue training materials in Microsoft SharePoint for easy access and reference. Manage users and content within Ross’ Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure effective delivery of training programs. This involves maintaining an organized repository of training resources and ensuring seamless access for all learners.

Who you are:

  • University degree or College Diploma in Education, Writing, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical writing, training, or adult education.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Adobe Premiere, Articulate, or Captivate is an asset.
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is an asset.
  • Experience in a fast-moving tech environment is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving tech environment and willing to try new things.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in training materials.
  • Skilled communicator, both written and oral, to effectively convey information and instructions.
  • High level of creativity and design capability to develop engaging and effective learning content.
  • Curious and driven, with a willingness to explore new methods and technologies.
  • Critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Effective time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within scheduled deadlines.
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
