The Training Specialist will deliver and develop training programs for disability claims staff, ensuring adherence to policies, legislative changes, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

1. Provide training on disability claims, rehabilitation, and early intervention services.
2. Educate and coach staff on claims management, processes, and problem-solving.
3. Equip staff with decision-making tools and knowledge of outside services.
4. Develop and update training programs for various product lines.
5. Review and update claim procedures as needed.
6. Support staff understanding of procedural changes.
7. Maintain training documentation and reports.
8. Perform quality assurance audits on claims.

Qualifications and Skills

• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in disability case management or claims examination.
• Experience in developing and delivering adult learning programs.
• Certifications in medical terminology, claims, or related fields are assets.
• Degree in adult education is an asset.
